@LCM Changing the Creative Commons license wouldn't be enough - NG can't host remixes of commercial songs. It's a different situation with sites like YouTube because they pay nearly $2 billion per year to the recording industry but that's not something NG can afford to do.

Looks like it was a remix of a commercial song (Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding), which creates an issue with licensing agencies who expect royalty fees for use of the original song.
Also it had a Creative Commons license which is dangerous because someone might use the song in something thinking they are allowed to use it, when rights have not been given by the original artists / record label / licensing agencies.
